El episodio piloto de "The
Untouchables" se titula "The Untouchables: Part 1" y "The
Untouchables: Part 2". En lugar de ser un episodio independiente, fue
incorporado como los dos primeros episodios de la primera temporada de la
serie. Estos dos episodios piloto se transmitieron como una historia continua y
establecieron el tono y la premisa de la serie.
En "The Untouchables: Part
1", se presenta la introducción de Eliot Ness (interpretado por Robert
Stack) y su equipo de agentes especiales, apodados "The Untouchables".
Ness es asignado para liderar una fuerza especial dentro del Departamento del
Tesoro de los Estados Unidos con el objetivo de desmantelar las operaciones
ilegales lideradas por el famoso gángster Al Capone (interpretado por Neville
Brand) durante la época de la prohibición.
El episodio piloto narra cómo Ness
